Bureau Veritas Presenting the Solutions of Carbon Neutrality and Hydrogen Safety at UNDP Hydrogen Industry Conference 2021

The 5th International Hydrogen & Fuel Cell Technology and Product Expo was held in Foshan (China) from December 8 to10, 2021, with the theme of "A HYDROGEN FUTURE FOR A NET ZERO WORLD", and B  ureau Veritas participated the expo while presenting its carbon neutrality solution together with complete hydrogen industry chain.

Li Zheng, the technical expert of hydrogen in BV, presented “Risk Management Control and Safety Process Management in the Hydrogen" in the Hydrogen Theater for fuel cells technology. According to Li Zheng, as hydrogen is featured with the double attributes of both energy and hazardous chemicals, it has common risks in the complete hydrogen industry value chain while posing special risks in perspectives of as production, storage, transportation, refilling and applications. In his speech, Li also introduced the safety supervision system of hydrogen from three perspectives, i.e. laws, regulations and criterion while describing the applications of the major elements of risk management control and safety process management in the hydrogen, and BV's service solutions for the complete hydrogen industry chain, involving the global cases and practices in hydrogen production, storage, transportation and applications.
