BV Attended the Aerospace Propulsion Technology International Forum to Assist in the Sustainable and Low-Carbon Development of the Entire Aerospace Industry Chain
On December 16-17, 2021, the 9th China Aerospace Propulsion Technology International Forum 2021 was successfully held in Changsha (Hunan), which attracted leaders, industry experts and business representatives from research institutes, engine manufacturing enterprises and etc. Bureau Veritas (hereinafter referred to as "BV"), as a world-renowned third-party inspection and certification body, had its own booth at the forum site for the presentation of its sustainable low-carbon solutions of the aviation industry.
In recent years, Hunan, as the first pilot province in China to reform the whole-region management of low-altitude airspace, has been optimizing its aerospace industry system, continually enlarging the industry scale, and building a development layout of the entire industry chain integrating aerial motor development, whole engine manufacturing, aviation operations, and supporting derivatives. Meanwhile, against the macro backdrop of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, the enterprises of the entire aerospace industry chain have to face together the opportunity and challenge of the efficient, low-carbon and green development of the aerospace industry.
As a world-renowned certification body, BV has not only been recognized by major credit granting institutions worldwide in the aerospace industry, but also has a series of standardized industrial methodologies for training in green sustainability and carbon neutrality services, which can help relevant enterprises master scientific methods to manage energy consumption and reduce carbon emissions effectively, thus assisting the aviation enterprises to mitigate the impact of climate change throughout their operation and achieve the goal of carbon neutrality.
